The Great Mississippi River Run 2 Days - 1 Night
The Perfect Weekend Get-Away
Strap on your helmet for the ride of lifetime. We have taken the best of everything in our quest to bring you a vacation you will not forget.
If you have driven the river road but have not explored into Wisconsin farther then you are missing out on a great ride. It will be a slow ride as we meander through valleys and coulees to our different destinations.
You will definitely feel lost. By getting off the beaten trail you will explore the most beautiful scenic routes in the country. Wisconsin is famous for roads that wind in and out of coulees that seem to go on forever.
The cliffs by Alma are breathtaking, that is true, but that is not everything!
Make sure you bring your camera for this scenic tour of Wisconsin.
Stops along the way include:
Bullfrog Fish Farm
Crystal Cave
Devil's Punch Bowl
National Eagle Center
Panoramic Scenic Overlooks

Day 1: After orientation and safety training we are off to Crystal Cave in Spring Valley. We will get a one hour guided tour of this remarkable formation. From Spring Valley we meander through some of the most beautiful country roads that Wisconsin is famous for on our way to Plum City where we will take a break and feed the fish on Main Street. You can not leave Wisconsin without cheese! A stop at Eau Galle Cheese Factory is a must. Buy some extra because we are on our way to Herby`s Eat My Fish for a truly unique experience! We will catch our own trout and Herby will filet and cook our trout for lunch. Talk about fresh! After a great lunch we are on to Menomonie to drive Rustic Road 89 and to walk around at The Devil’s Punchbowl. We overnight in Menomonie.
Day 2: After breakfast and a daily briefing we our off to intercept the Great River Road in Alma. It will take us all morning because we will travel some of the best motorcycle roads along the way. From Alma we will make our way to Wabasha were we will stop for lunch. After lunch we will take a tour of the National Eagle Sanctuary. If you’re not interested in taking a tour that is ok! There are many local shops to satisfy that shopping itch. Upon leaving Wabasha we head to Bay City where we will stop for ice cream at Flat Pennies Ice Cream. Old Stuff is another unique store in Bay City that has memorabilia from yesterday. From Bay City we head back to River Falls to end our tour.
